Parent and pilot brief

Children need backup without being watched all day.

Usalama is building a child-activated safety alert workflow that helps a child notify trusted adults quickly, without continuous tracking or public location links.

What Usalama Does

  1. Parent or guardian configures a trusted Safety Circle before an emergency.
  2. Child presses and holds the Help button for three seconds.
  3. Usalama alerts the preconfigured list automatically.
  4. Usalama requests one emergency pin when available.
  5. Trusted adults coordinate a response and resolve the incident.

What Usalama Does Not Do

  • No continuous child tracking in the MVP.
  • No route history or social feed.
  • No public child search or public live-location links.
  • No unknown-adult messaging.
  • No claim that Usalama replaces 911 or emergency services.

Next Step

Reply with your city/state, your role, and whether you are open to a 15-minute discovery conversation. We are collecting feedback before inviting supervised pilot participants.

In any real emergency, call local emergency services immediately. Usalama is a coordination layer in development, not a rescue guarantee.
